Michelle is an outstanding lawyer who has played a key role in the development and success of the firm by building strong, solution focussed relationships with her clients. Michelle works collaboratively with clients to achieve tailored outcomes on individual matters, whilst also meeting broader strategic objectives.
She has over 15 years experience in insurance litigation, spanning Queensland and New South Wales, across the full spectrum of statutory compensation and regulatory schemes, including the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002, Civil Liability Act 2003, Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003, Motor Accident Insurance Act 1994, Motor Accident Compensation Act 1999 (NSW) and the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (C’th).
Having worked extensively in private practice and more recently, in-house, Michelle brings a unique blended skill-set to claims resolution.
Michelle’s current focus is upon public and product liability claims involving owners/occupiers, occurring in the workplace or involving sub-contract or labour hire arrangements, along with compulsory third party claims. Her strengths lie in her attention to detail and claims negotiation, capitalising on her passion for advocating her client’s cause at conference toward early and effective claims compromise.
