Melanie Husband

Melanie is an outstanding lawyer who has worked in insurance law since her admission. She has experience managing a wide variety of claims including CTP, workers’ compensation and public liability claims.  She is an excellent communicator and has developed strong and respectful working relationships not only with clients but also the local region’s legal practitioners, barristers and members of the judiciary.  Having undertaken her university studies and lived in Cairns for over 20 years, her local experience is proving invaluable in achieving excellent claim outcomes.

Melanie is a current committee member of AILA and Ramsay Health Care Cairns.  She is also a current member and former vice-president of the Far North Queensland Law Association and a current member of the Far North Queensland Medico-Legal Society.
